I used to accidently make butter all the time at the bakery. It takes a while to whip up 2 gallons of cream, so I'd go off to do something else while it was going and if I didn't come back in time I'd have to make an extra batch of buttercream to use it up!

(I wonder if there's a way I could get the kids to do it with an egg beater. Maybe an egg beater and some crystal meth.)
